Today’s Daily Spinn is an exciting collaboration that emanates from the shadow of the Big Apple.

Eclectic Jersey City-based band Inner Sounds expands its horizons on “The One,” a collaboration with Uruguayan singer-songwriter Agustina Giovio. The track ventures into new territory with shades of hip hop, pop, and soul, and features the first-ever rapped verse from Inner Sounds frontman Chris Aguayo. The track is brought to life further by Giovio, whose pleasant tones and jazzy melody are a revelation to new listeners.

“The One” was developed by Aguayo and Inner Sounds bassist Zac Carson, who brought Giovio into the fold to collaborate and co-write the track. Giving the tune its final master was Grammy winner Mark Christensen, who has worked with the likes of 98 Degrees, 50 Cent, The Killers, and many other notable artists.
